tales of torture.
Brody, a man in his late 30s and a devoted father, has spent two long years waiting in a deserted tavern, clinging to the promise that his daughter will be returned. But his world is shattered when a stranger arrives with a note from the man who took her: she won’t be coming back anytime soon—she’s been sold and is already on her way to Las Vegas. Fueled by rage and desperation, Brody jumps into his car and embarks on a cross-country journey to reclaim his daughter. Along the way, he crosses paths with Nick Rodriguez, a.k.a Roddy, a mischievous 13 year old with a penchant for trouble. Roddy’s scheme—setting up spike strips to rob unsuspecting drivers—is meant for anyone but Brody. When Roddy unwittingly targets him, Brody sees something more than a criminal in the boy: he sees himself, at once reckless and vulnerable. Reluctantly, Brody takes Roddy under his wing, and the unlikely pair set off together toward Las Vegas. But the journey is far from smooth. Their path soon collides with the Brown Brothers, a pair of vengeful twins Roddy crossed in New Mexico after stealing $1 million, pushing Brody and Roddy to face the consequences of their pasts, challenge their limits, and fight for a shot at saving what matters most.

In 1971, the dust of war in Turtuk cruelly separated infant Yuvaan Pal and his older brother, Aadi, from their parents. Sixteen years later, the emotional chasm remained despite a mere five-kilometre distance. Overwhelmed by unanswered questions, Aadi tragically took his own life, unearthing a devastating secret: their parents had faithfully written weekly letters, filled with love and updates, yet not a single one had ever been opened. Grief for his brother, anger at the injustice, and overwhelming wonder raged within him. How could these vital lifelines have been ignored? Yuvaan made a life-altering decision. He would embark on an arduous, 4000-kilometer odyssey to find his parents. This was a pilgrimage of the heart, a desperate attempt to bridge the sixteen-year gap and understand the truth. The path was fraught with peril. Deep scars of the Turtuk war manifested as lingering political tensions and local rivalries.
